Face # 16 Zombie

I’ve been doing art, but also been climbing my way out of a depression so not interacting with others, so I haven’t been posting it.  Now, I am not into zombies like so many are these days, but when my line drawing turned out too pretty and boring, I decided she really needed to be one.  So here she is.  I am going to gift her to just the right zombie-lover, so if that’s you, let me know.  🙂  She’s about 7×10 inches on hand-torn Stonehenge:

  1. What I think people ought to know, too, is that you didn’t do this or the vampire while in a depression. Any “scary” faces you do are done whilst quite happy. 😉 And you know I love both of these faces. 🙂 ❤

Actually your “zombie” appears to me to be a woman healing from depression of some sort…the green symbolically represents healing and nature and the grey of course represents sadness of a nature that does not pass easily. I cant tell you how much of an inspiration you are to me Satina….when I look at your art, I accept the art that comes from me more easily…as if what I have to say artistically matters also…Im so grateful for your talent!

{{{Lynn}}} Thank you. So why aren’t you posting some of your art on facebook or a blog? I haven’t seen any…

my previous profile pic on facebook is my favorite piece….I did it after my grandson passed away. I have never blogged so I wouldnt have the slightest idea how to…but I have several other pieces. I also have some drawings that I did during EMDR treatment for my PTSD.

If you want, I can help you set up a gallery of some kind. There are several options. Either way, I’d be honored to see your work, Lynn.
